The Ventnor Vibe Co. is beyond stoked to announce the very first, Creative Vibes Scholarship. The scholarship is open to Ventnor City student residents interested in pursuing a career in the creative arts. Two scholarships are available: one $500 scholarship for an art student from the Ventnor Middle School, and a second $1,000 scholarship for a high school or college student studying creative arts or media.

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS

The Creative Vibes Scholarship celebrates and encourages the arts in education. We believe that fostering creativity is as important, and can lead to as many career opportunities, as math and sciences. This scholarship will be awarded to a student who displays a mixture of artistic talent, creative thought leadership, and passion for further pursuing the arts.

$500 Ventnor Middle School Scholarship

Working alongside Ventnor Public Schools’ art teacher, Micki Martin, The Ventnor Vibe Co. will award one (1) Ventnor 8th grader with a scholarship of $500. The winner of this scholarship will be selected not just based on talent, but a combination of work ethic, class performance, and overall character.

Applications can be downloaded here and must be filled out and submitted to Ms. Martin by 3PM, May 27, 2022. Upon selection, the winner of the Creative Vibes Scholarship will be awarded a $500 check and asked to create a design that will be printed on t-shirts and sold throughout Ventnor in the summer of 2022. All proceeds of these sales will be used to continue this scholarship in the following school year.

$1,000 Ventnor High School / College Student Scholarship

The Ventnor Vibe Co. will award one (1) Ventnor student resident with a scholarship of $1,000. The student must be a resident of Ventnor and a graduating high school senior or actively enrolled college student studying in the creative arts or media. The winner of this scholarship will be selected based on a combination of talent, work ethic, activities, portfolio and overall character.

Applications are available here and must be filled out and submitted online via the Ventnor Vibe Co. website by midnight, June 17, 2022. Upon selection, the winner of the Creative Vibes Scholarship will be awarded a $1,000 check and asked to create a design that will be printed on t-shirts and sold throughout Ventnor in the summer of 2022. All proceeds of these sales will be used to continue this scholarship in the following school year.
